Rob from Toms River: "I had Cuda 168 on my old fishing kayak and sold it with the kayak so with my new (Hobie Outback) kayak I went with a better unit and 250 is a great unit that seems to be much clearer than the 168." |
| Joey from New Rochelle, NY "I have been using the Cuda 168 3 years now and have had the thing underwater in the surf a couple times and has held up great. I have marked many fish and caught those fish so I guess its working. I get 10 hours on the water with 8 AA batteries. It is a good idea to spray some electronics lube on the connection that go into the unit because it did look a little pitted but always worked fine. I did have to tweak the settings because out of the box it was a little sensitive and was picking up baits schools everywhere. Menu is very easy to navigate - even on the water. I think that screen and the unit size for that matter are perfect for the kayak." |

Eman "I use this on a jon boat and ice fishing. It is very portable and easy to use. A fantastic product for the money. I recommend it highly."Mykel from Southern NH "Great finder. Good accuracy and the temperature feature is nice. Battery life is outstanding. I have well over 30 hours on the original batteries I installed upon delivery. Great for kayaks or to move from boat to boat. Can’t go wrong, even at a higher price. A can’t miss deal at $99." |
| JG "This is a great little unit for on the go fishermen. It has all the basics, plus extras. It operates for more than a full week on one set of batteries, it is easy to pack, setup, and use. The screen is easy to see, and there is ample cable length to move the unit close to your position in the boat." |
