While Ned-style soft plastics have traditionally relied on being subtle and unobtrusive, they still need to be seen to be effective, so Wheeler and the CrushCity team set out to develop "a bait that would float a heavier weight than normal." This one will stand up a quarter-ounce Ned head. It also has a tapered tail, as opposed the more standard stubby ending, which attracts attention without being overbearing.
