Bay Street Marina: is a safe haven for boaters during inclement weather with its natural deep water accessibility. Docks are offered for seasonal tenants and transient visitors. Visitors may wish to tour the SS Norisle. Permanently berthed in Manitowaning and a part of our Museum Heritage Complex, the Norisle is one of the finest examples of the ships of yesteryear that sailed the Great Lakes.
A short walk uphill, past a sandy beach and a picnic area provides more attractions and amenities including a museum, a historic lighthouse (still in operation), the oldest church in Northern Ontario, downtown shopping and dining in a warm friendly environment. The community offers visitors activities such as: swimming, tennis, fishing, hiking and golf. The Rainbow Ridge Golf Course features 18 holes of golfing enjoyment, with a club house open to the public.
Other nearby attractions include: Assiginack Museum, La Cloche Mountains, Cup and Saucer Hiking Trail, Ten Mile Point Trading Post, Mc's Park Trail, High Falls, Manitowaning Lighthouse.
