Its early morning on Lake Dalrymple and you and your fishing buddy have just launched the boat.
You know the lake and you start your routine. After all
you supposedly know where the pike and muskey are and have all the right equipment for the job.
Usually within the first ten minutes you've got your first hit and possibly landed a couple of pike but today nothings happening on
Lake Dalrymple. So what do you do, change your technique, change your lures, change your way of thinking. All this is good but never give
up.
What kind of results can you expect ?
Well some days you can land a monster tiger muskey like the one below.
We didn't keep this trophy muskey but guesstimates put it at almost 50 inches.
Lake Dalrymple is located about 25 kms. south east of Orillia and about an 1 1/2 hour drive north of Toronto. In addition to muskey, northern pike, pickerel, perch and crappie can
be found.
Remember, you need the right the tools for the job. Start with a good tackle bag and lure containers. Then get yourself some quality
lures, line, rod and reel and your off to a good start. Follow it up with some accessories but don't buy just anything.
